Mild conditions are expected to continue overnight with minimum temperatures of around 14 degrees. Temperatures in Hastings for example are expected to peak at 23 degrees on Tuesday, whilst in Eastbourne residents will experience a cool 22 degrees. The light winds though eastern and coastal parts means areas in East Sussex will feel cooler. It is likely to be a dry and largely sunny day with little cloud and no chance of rain showers. Some of the hottest areas in Sussex this Tuesday are likely to be Chichester and Brighton, where temperatures will reach 28 degrees. However, whilst temperatures are likely to rise into the low-to-mid 30s, they are not expected to be as extreme as those experienced in July.
